Mission

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering complex, high-impact projects? We are looking for a Head of Proton Therapy Project Management to drive the strategic execution of our cutting-edge proton therapy projects from contract to delivery.

In this essential role, you will collaborate with the Proton Therapy leadership team to define the vision and strategy for the business unit. You will oversee the end-to-end project management process, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and maximizing profitability. You’ll also lead our Project Management Office (PMO), providing the tools, processes, and support that empower our project managers to succeed. Together, you’ll drive continuous improvements and foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor the project management and support teams, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Strategic Oversight: Co-develop and execute project management strategies, including staffing models and installation standards.
  • End-to-End Project Ownership: Oversee the planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery of proton therapy equipment projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and company objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and identifying areas for risk mitigation.
  • Backlog Management: Drive the conversion of project backlogs and optimize gross margin recognition.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives that promote efficiency, productivity, and quality improvements across the project portfolio.

What we value

  • PMP Certification (or equivalent), with a deep understanding of best practices in project management.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale equipment projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on delivering technical solutions.
  • Strong financial acumen with knowledge of project budgeting and accounting processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills to motivate teams and stakeholders alike.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive solutions.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 30%.
